After attending the Albertina Academy in Turin and Vittorio Cavalleri's studio, he carefully studied the works of his masters and friends Delleani, Tavernier and Bistolfi. During the First World War, he was Captain of the Alpini.
Among his best-known works are "On the Beach" (1922).

He participated in almost all the Turin exhibitions of the Circolo degli Artisti and the Promotrice, as well as various exhibitions in Novara, Genoa, Casale Monferrato and Milan.
Much of his production was destroyed during the Second World War due to a bomb that fell on his studio in via Po in 1942. In 1946 the Circolo degli Artisti of Turin dedicated a retrospective exhibition to him, the first after the events warlike
