Alberto Dal Lago & Stefania Giannotti Biography
Adalberto Dal Lago, born in Milan in 1937, obtained a degree in Architecture at the Polytechnic of Milan, where he carried out academic activity as Assistant to the Chair of Decoration and subsequently as Assistant and Teacher at the Chair of Elements of Composition. He has published numerous works on architecture, design and decoration; furthermore, he directed the magazine "Review-Ways of living today" and the "Technology/Design" section of the magazine "L'architettura-Cronache e Storia", published by Bruno Zevi. Since 1963, he has practiced his profession in Italy, Europe, Switzerland, the United States, Russia, Finland and the Philippines in the field of architecture and industrial design for companies such as Aeroflot, Bticino, Brion Vega Spa, and others. Furthermore, Adalberto Dal Lago has for years been a consultant for important companies in the industrial design sector for the creation of furnishing elements, textile, vinyl and ceramic products, as well as responsible for color trends in different sectors, such as the design and styling of automobile and two-wheeled vehicles. His experience in graphic design ranges from intervention on individual products, such as the logo, packaging, catalogue, up to the coordination of the corporate image and the creation of promotional and editorial initiatives for companies operating in the architecture sector, of furniture and design.
