Casimiro Tomba Aldini Biography

Casimiro Tomba Aldini (Rome, 1857 - Rome, 1929) was a watercolorist and author of genre paintings.
Specializing in genre painting with neo-Pompeian and orientalist subjects, he was active in the Roman artistic environment at the end of the century.
He made his debut in 1880 at the National Exhibition of Turin and Rome. Casimiro Tomba Aldini was a member and frequent visitor of the exhibitions of the Society of Amateurs and Cultori, where he presented his works, "Dangerous Instruction" in 1882, "Odalisque" in 1885 and "A match" in 1903. He was also a member of the International Artistic Association, with which he participated in the decoration of the rooms of the club in via Margutta together with other artists in 1884.
