Antonio Citterio & Paolo Nava Biography
Antonio Citterio, born in Meda in 1950, opened his own design studio in 1972 and graduated in architecture from the Polytechnic of Milan in 1975. From 1987 to 1996 he was associated with Terry Dwan and together they created buildings in Europe and Japan . In 1999 he founded, together with Patricia Viel, the company "Antonio Citterio and Partners". The studio operates internationally, developing complex project programs, at all scales and in synergy with a qualified network of specialist consultancies.
Paolo Nava, born in Seregno in 1943, graduated from the Faculty of Architecture of the Polytechnic of Milan and completed the Higher Course in Industrial Design in Florence, graduating in 1966. He then continued his education in England, collaborating with design studios industrial design. In 1972 he founded the Citterio - Nava studio with Antonio Citterio, creating projects for B&B Italia, Artvis, Flexform, Snaidero, Boffi, Malobbia and Xilitalia. Following the split of the Citterio - Nava studio in 1982, Paolo Nava continued his activity as a designer independently, continuing to collaborate with well-known Italian and foreign companies, including Arflex, Flexform, B&B Italia, Tonon, Binova, Poliform, De Sede , Treca, U. Confalonieri & C.
