Elica Balla Biography

Elica Balla was an Italian painter, writer and poet, born in Rome in 1914 to Giacomo Balla, a famous exponent of Futurism. During her life, Elica distinguished herself as the author of a valuable biographical book entitled "Con Balla", published in three volumes by Multhipla Edizioni between 1984 and 1986, in which she recounted her daily life and her experience during Second World War, including events related to the Nazi occupation of Rome.
