Ugo Vittore Bartolini (Florence, 1906 - Milan, 1975). He studied at the Professional School of Decorative Arts of Santa Croce, where his teachers were the painter Aldo Carpi and the sculptor Libero Andreotti. In 1934 he obtained the chair of Figure Drawing in Milan, at the Art School of the Brera Academy. The works for which he is known are a series of female nudes, landscapes and still lifes. His style is simple and communicative, his paintings have a warm and refined chromaticism. He took part in the Venice Biennale and the Rome Quadrennial and won important prizes.
