Remo Bianco (Milan, 1922 - Milan, 1988). Pseudonym of Remo Bianchi, the artist attended the Brera Academy, met de Pisis and began to frequent his studio, where he met Carrà, Sironi, Savinio, Soffici, Soldati, Marini, Singer. In 1941 he was enlisted as a gunner on a destroyer, which was sunk. Saved by the English, he was imprisoned in Tunis. In 1944 he returned to Milan and recontacted de Pisis. He participates in the Nuclear Movement, founded by Baj and Dangelo, from which he learns the love for matter and from Spatialism he learns the Dadaist dimension, he is interested in material colors and material writing. His art frees itself from figurativeness to become pure brushstrokes. At the beginning of the 1950s he created works on layers of glass and plastic and carved on wood. After research carried out on the college, the Tableux dores were born, created with gold leaf and paint. In 1956 he wrote the Improntale art manifesto, which was born from the imprint printed like a colored stamp. In the Seventies he carried out experiments with artificial snow, which he sprayed on various objects or people. The objects were closed in cases and the people photographed in black and white. Snow Sculptures are born. Among the artist's latest experiments is Elementary Art: works created with flowers, fruits, carousels, toy soldiers and writings.
