Giuseppe Biasi da Teulada (Sassari, 1885 - Adorno Micca, Biella, 1945). Following a classical education and a degree in Law, he dedicated himself to artistic activity, creating humorous drawings and caricatures for university magazines and newspapers. His pictorial production subsequently moves towards Sardinian genre scenes, inspired by the habits and customs of his land. In 1909 he exhibited at the Venice Biennale. since 1916 he has worked in Milan and illustrated Grazia Deledda's short stories. Between 1924 and 1927, he traveled to North Africa, returned to Sardinia and dedicated himself to xylography, chromolineography and decoration. In 1942 he moved to Biella after the liberation, but was arrested for his alleged closeness to the local fascist leaders. He loses his life during an attack by a group of citizens.
