Giacinto Bo, self-taught, concentrated above all on the work of Giuseppe Camino, often creating seascapes and landscapes in holographic style.
From 1871 to 1900, Giacinto Bo participated in the exhibitions of the promoting societies of Genoa and Turin, presenting Piedmontese and Ligurian views, floral and orientalist subjects, also created in tempera and watercolour. From 1871 to 1900, Giacinto Bo participated in the exhibitions of the promoting societies of Genoa and Turin, presenting Piedmontese and Ligurian views, floral and orientalist subjects, also created in tempera and watercolour. However, starting from 1900, he no longer participated in other artistic competitions due to financial needs which forced him to sell off his works and produce many others. This conduct led him to be hindered by his contemporary artists, so much so that he was banned from their cenacles.
He died forgotten and completely hollowed out as an artist, but only recently have collectors begun to research his many works.
