Francesco Bocola (1938 - ) is a transversal artist, who combines experiences and skills in the figure of an inventor of 21st century Art, Design, Planning. After studying at the Brera Academy, he began to exhibit in Italian galleries as an informal painter . His first exhibition debuted in the Piccola Galleria del Polesine, presented by Lucio Fontana and reviewed by Giuseppe Marchiori. The meeting with Pierre Restany, at the beginning of the 1960s, gave rise to a conceptual turning point that led Bocola to develop new research; It will be this journey that will provide the backdrop for the performance event The Segregation of Memory by Restany. The exhibition was very successful and was noticed by the stylist Pierre Cardin, who grasped its potential by commissioning him to work in Paris for four years renovating the Espace Cardin.
