Fernando and Humberto Campana are two brothers who have been working together in Sao Paulo, Brazil, since 1983. Humberto, a law graduate, participates in this partnership as a self-taught artist, while Fernando has a degree in architecture. In 1989 they created their first collection: Desconfortveis. In 1998 they collaborated with Edra, creating the “Vermehla Chair” exhibited at the MoMA in New York together with Ingo Maurer. In 2008, Fernando and Humberto Campana were awarded the “Designers of the Year” award by Design Miami. In 2009 they presented a major retrospective at the Vitra Design Museum – The Antibodies –. The collaboration with Venini began in 2005.
