The Cattelan company started its business in the late 1970s, when it was founded by Giorgio and Silvia Cattelan in Veneto. Originally specializing in the production of marble objects, the company soon expanded by broadening its product range which still includes its flagship chairs and tables today. At the same time, the choice of materials has expanded to progressively include wood, glass, leather and metal. Subsequently, the brand also opened up to international markets.
All this was possible thanks to the adoption of a successful philosophy which consists in the creation of simple and functional works, endowed with aesthetic beauty and designed in a spontaneous way. According to Cattelan, it is essential that everything is based on authentic and true values, which are deeply rooted in the family and the domestic environment in which it lives.
