Marco Del Re, after a Roman education and a Venetian stay in front of the Campo dei Carmini, moved to Paris in 1988. Marco Del Re had begun his artistic journey with the experimental theater of the early 70s, which was reminiscent of Jarry's experience and wanted to be “gestural and violent”; in 1973 he met Arturo Schwarz, a friend of Dadaists and Surrealists who had a very lively gallery in Milan, who recognized his talent as a painter and convinced him to take part in a first Milanese exhibition.
