He was a painter like his father and his first-born brother Giuseppe. He was enrolled in the Venetian painters' fraternity from 1761 to 1773 (Favero, 1975), together with his brother Giuseppe, with whom, moreover, he held some bureaucratic positions within the professional organization of Venetian painters in 1778. None of his paintings are dated or dateable; we only know that in 1766 he presented a Landscape with the Magdalene to the Academy of Fine Arts to demonstrate his ability and obtain enrollment in the Academy; However, he was only admitted there in 1774 together with Giuseppe Zais. He died in Venice on 23 June 1797.
