Roberto Donatelli (1953 - ) appeared on the international scene in 1984 when Enrico Crispolti curated his personal exhibition “Tra Visione ed Erotismo” at the Museum of Modern Art in Macerata. In the same year, his solo exhibition "Black Napoletan" was presented in Rome, at the "Centro di Sarro" gallery. In 1990-1992 he was in Denmark at the Spiald Gallery, at the Vaerket, at the Randers Musik og Teaterhus, Langaa Raadhus, Laangaa Kommune. In the meantime he teaches at the Academy of Fine Arts in Naples. Since 2008 he has been a full professor at the Academy of Figurative Arts in Rome. He received first prize at the 1990 International Conference – Young Italian Painters. Take part in the Festival dei Due Mondi in Spoleto. In 2003 he exhibited in Parma, at the M2 Gallery for the exhibition "The eye tells..." presented by the poet Michele Sovente. In 2006 he presented the exhibition “Lighting Star” in Rome at the “Studio San Giacomo” gallery. In 2007, in Los Angeles, his works were exhibited at the Airport Art Walk for the LA Art-Show.
