Carlo Fachinetti (Florence 1870 - 1935) was an Italian painter who approached the current of divisionism.
He studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Florence, where he had Giuseppe Ciaranfi as his mentor and teacher.
An artist with undisputed technical skills and stylistic qualities, during his career he was influenced by the avant-garde movements of the time, and was particularly sensitive to the painting of the pointillist current.
He was able to represent women and children with poetry and passion, portrayed mostly in intimate and family contexts.
His works are preserved in private collections and in the royal picture gallery.
He died in Florence in 1935.
