Roberto Gabetti and Aimaro Isola, both Full Professors at the Faculty of Architecture of the Polytechnic of Turin, collaborated from 1950 to 2000, constituting one of the most prolific professional partnerships in the field of modern and contemporary architecture. The numerous projects carried out since the beginning of their activity are characterized by the attention dedicated to the landscape and the environment at different scales. Most of their works have been exhibited and analyzed in exhibitions, as well as published in architecture magazines and national and international publications, stimulating a complex debate on the relationship between modernity and tradition. Numerous monographs have explored their thinking in depth. Design and architecture works are exhibited at the MOMA in New York, the Center Pompidou in Paris, the Accademia di San Luca and the Maxxi in Rome. Luciano Re was part of the firm in the 60s and 70s, subsequently dedicating himself to university teaching. Guido Drocco shared his entire career with Gabetti and Isola until 2000, achieving important personal professional successes and also holding roles as university professor.
