(1908 - 1992) Born in Monza, Galbiati is an artist with a long and prestigious activity which he practiced for over thirty years in Liguria. His pictorial preparation took place first at the School of Art in Monza and later in Milan at the School of the Nude and although he then moved to Liguria, over the years he maintained the typical palette of the Lombard tradition: dark, warm, rich in half tones. Author of landscapes and still lifes, he frequently dedicated himself to the nude and the female figure. His intense exhibition activity includes his participation in the Rome Quadrennial and the Milan Permanente in the 1960s. In this exhibition there are oil paintings, made mainly on wood, which testify to the artist's long loyalty to image painting. Liguria was his great inspiration, he painted the panoramas of the coasts and inland.
