GAUDINA CARLO Turin 1878 - 1937 He studied at the Albertina Academy in Turin with PC Gilardi and P. Gaidano. He was the favorite pupil of G. Grosso, with whom he collaborated on several occasions, among other things in the execution of two large celebratory panoramas for the bicentenary of the Battle of Turin (1906) and during the master's stays in Argentina. He was a good colourist and illustrator: he mainly painted female figures and portraits of children and successful artists. He also painted in pastel and intervened with fresco decorations in the Regio and Carignano theaters of Turin, in the castle of Briona in the Novara area, in churches and palaces in the Cunese and Valsesia areas.
