Giuseppe Giorgio Gori (Paris, 1906 – Florence, 1969) was an Italian architect. He was born in Paris in 1906 to a Florentine cabinetmaker, Gregorio Gori, and settled in Florence in 1924 where he attended the Higher Institute of Architecture, graduating in 1934 with a design thesis entitled "Hospital Organization of Florence". In his professional activity he collaborated with the protagonists of architecture in Florence in the 50s and 60s. His name is mainly linked to the Flower Market in Pescia created in 1949. Parallel to his professional activity he carried out teaching activities which began as assistant to Giovanni Michelucci at the University of Florence and ended as Dean of the faculty from 1966 to 1969, the year of his death.
