Gianni Manganelli (1942 - 2006) was an Italian director and screenwriter. Having completed his film training in London in the 1960s, between the 1970s and 1980s he wrote some cinematic successes such as Fracchia the human beast, Sogni monstrously forbidden and Pappa e ciccia. At the end of the eighties, he met Ilaria Liotta and with the birth of their beloved daughter Giulia, he retired to the family residence "La Vallina", in Versilia, and dedicated himself totally to sculpture, establishing himself internationally.
