Tancredi Mucchetti, born in Ardo in 1934, lived his childhood in a family of artists: his father Giuseppe was a decorator and his uncle Angelo a painter. Growing up in this artistic environment, Mucchetti developed a passion for art and puppet theater.
During the 1950s and 1960s, Mucchetti associated with numerous artists in Milan and traveled throughout Italy to present his puppets. Later, he brought his show to the United States, where he also presented his theater designs.
Mucchetti's works have been exhibited in private collections in many countries, including Germany, Holland, Switzerland, Poland, France, Canada, the United States, Belgium, Monaco, Luxembourg and Austria.
In 1984, Mucchetti performed a Nativity in the church of Soiano del Lago, demonstrating his skill and passion for art.
