Eugenio Perego was born in Milan in 1845 and received his first painting lessons from his uncle, Domenico Induno. Subsequently, he attended the Brera Academy of Fine Arts, in Milan, until 1863. In 1861 he made his debut at the Braidense Exhibition with a work entitled "A courtyard", while the production of the immediately following years appears linked to tradition Lombardy of the interiors of religious environments. Around 1870 he exhibited at exhibitions in Milan, Turin and Vienna and also dedicated himself to the creation of portraits and landscapes. He died in Milan in 1923.
