Peruzzini Antonio Francesco (Ancona, 1643- Milan, 1724) Antonio Francesco Peruzzini was an Italian painter. He approached painting within his family, as both his father and brothers were painters. In 1663 he was in Rome, from where he sent some paintings to Turin for Carlo Emanuele II of Savoy. He later moved to Bologna, where he received numerous commissions from Count Annibale Baruzzi for the creation of landscapes. Between 1690 and 1965 he stayed in Milan and in the early 18th century he moved to Tuscany, where he created the works commissioned by Ferdinando de' Medici. Peruzzini was a fundamental figure in the landscape painting of the 17th and 18th centuries, in which he started from a seventeenth-century expression and then arrived at an interpretation of the movement and color typical of the Rococo, using lighter and brighter shades and inserting a sort of vitality. in his paintings.
