Aldo Raimondi (Rome, 1902 - Milan, 1998) Aldo Raimondi was an Italian painter. He graduated in architecture at the Academy of Fine Arts. Between 1925 and 1926 he renovated rooms in Palazzo Cusani, headquarters of the Army Corps Command. In 1926 he moved to Parma, where he taught at the Art Institute and executed some watercolors of the view of the old city, commissioned by the mayor, demonstrating his talent as a landscape artist. In 1930 he organized his first solo exhibition, which was followed by other exhibitions in Italy and abroad. He painted landscapes, animals, flowers and portraits, including those of Popes Pius XII, John XXII and Paul VI.
