The ceramist Fulvio Ravaioli was born in Faenza in 1926 where he graduated from the G. Ballardini Art Institute. Having graduated in 1945, after the war he worked in the Technical Laboratory of the Art Institute he attended and dedicated himself, in addition to teaching, to artistic activity, creating stoneware artefacts which earned him, in 1963, the Faenza Prize ex -aequo with Pompeo Pianezzola from Bassano and Leoncillo Leonardi. In 1972 he participated in the International Competition of Contemporary Art Ceramics in Faenza.
