Gino Romiti (Livorno, 1881-1967). His training took place in the studio of maestro Guglielmo Micheli, he received guidance from Giovanni Fattori and became a friend of Modigliani. Themes dear to the artist are the pine forests of Ardenza, near Livorno, gardens, flowers, country roads and the seabed. In 1903, in 1913, in 1924, in 1952 he participated in the Venice Biennle, in 1914 at the Rome International. In 1920, together with other artists from Livorno, he founded the "Gruppo Labronico" of which he was president from 1943 to 1962. In 1926 and 1927 he was present at the Eightieth National Exposition of Palazzo Pitti in Florence.
