Ronis Willy (Paris, 1910-2009) Willy Ronis was a French photographer. Ronis enrolled in law school and subsequently devoted himself to photography at the request of his father, who had opened his own studio. He took many photographs for the workers' demonstrations of 1934 and later devoted himself to reportage. The photographer developed his own original artistic style, focusing on the choral harmony of madness movements and the joy of popular festivals. In 1953 Edward Steichen chose him to participate in an exhibition, entitled “Five French Photographers”, at the Museum of Modern Art in New York, together with Bresson, Doisneau, Brassai. In 1957 he participated in the Venice Biennale, where he obtained the gold medal.
