Alessio Sarri Biography
Alessio Sarri Ceramiche was born in 1981 with a work destined for the first exhibition of the Memphis group. Alessio Sarri, ceramist by tradition and vocation, was then able to translate into reality the creative sign of designers such as George J.Sowden, Ettore Sottsass, Nathalie du Pasquier, Almerico De Angelis, Beatrice Santiccioli, Jasper Morrison and others. Alessio Sarri himself, who also assumes the role of an entrepreneur, does not shy away from the charm of earth, which shapes and regenerates objects of common use with absolutely uncommon shapes. Each piece of the collections is enhanced in its aesthetic value by manual processing, in some cases true ceramic acrobatics. The works proposed by Alessio Sarri are objects that attract the eye, new, intriguing, evocative forms that emerge from the banality of everyday life, while retaining their original functions intact. It is also from this fascinating contrast that the commercial value and saleability of all the collections arises.
