The brand expands its market by starting to sell lamps in Europe and the United States, and in the 1950s Gaetano also begins designing for Stilnovo, creating his most famous lighting designs. His luxurious multi-light chandeliers with futuristic appearances, which create interesting optical effects and which combine shiny and satin metals such as brass and chromed metal, achieved increasing popularity in the United States during the 1970s, years in which his style veers towards aesthetics inspired by Art Deco and the Space Age. Founder and president of the association of Italian lighting manufacturers, Sciolari is today a highly sought-after name for his collectibles, among which the Habitat, Cultura and Futura series stand out.
