Tyler Shields (1982 - ) is an American photographer, filmmaker, and former competitive skater. He acquired the nickname "Hollywood's Favorite Photographer". He began his career as a professional inline skater, competing in the 1999 and 2000 Gallery the credit for having found his work. Shield often depicts violent acts, as seen in its 2011 photo of Lindsay Lohan, in which the actress is shown bleeding and holding a knife, and its image of actress Heather Morris, who has a battered eye. The photographer produced a book of his work in 2013 titled The Dirty Side of Glamour. He has designed campaigns for companies such as Nike, Adidas, Playboy, Harley Davidson and Gergé Swiss Watches. He made his directorial debut with the action horror film Final Girl in 2015. He lives and works in Los Angeles.
