Sobrile Giuseppe (Turin, 1879 - Forno Alpi Graie, 1956) Giuseppe Sobrile was an Italian painter. He studied at the Albertina Academy in Turin under the guidance of Pier Celestino Gilardi and Giacomo Grosso. He approached the taste of Felice Carena, Cesare Ferro and Domenico Buratti, with whom he shared an interest in detailed design and decoration. After the First World War he became interested in the representation of alpine landscapes and rustic views, but also in the depiction of still lifes with wildflowers, inserted in large compositions of colorful bouquets. In 1992 his last retrospective was held at the Mole Antonelliana in Turin.
