Antenore Soldi, born in Florence in 1844, was an Italian painter and engraver. He attended the Albertina Academy in Turin, following the courses of A. Gastaldi. Most of Soldi's works are concentrated in a few years and include figure studies, especially female ones, genre scenes, landscapes and some literary subjects taken from successful novels of the time, such as "Lelio" by F. Guerrazzi, exhibited at Turin in 1871, "Solitudine", exhibited in Genoa in 1873, and "In January", exhibited in Turin in 1876. Soldi was close to the artists of the Rivara landscape group. Between 1874 and 1876, he was also a founding member of the Society of Etchers.
He died in Turin in 1877
