Chieri (Turin) 1858 - after 1927 He studied with A. Gastaldi and PC Gilardi at the Accademia Albertina in Turin. After his debut at the Turin Promotrice (1884, Poesia del cloister), his presence at the city's artistic events was constant and lasted until 1927. He also exhibited in Venice (1887, Alla Guardia del curate), Genoa (1892, Faust and Margherita), Florence and Milan (1906, From Gressoney to Monte Rosa). He painted portraits, genre paintings and landscapes with freshness, inspired by motifs from the Aosta Valley, Monte Rosa and, in later years, the Eastern Riviera. He taught drawing in Turin.
