Studio del Campo was an important Turin company specialized in the production of high-fire enamels on copper in the applied arts sector. It was founded in 1957 by Virgilio Bari, Euclide Chiambretti, Lidia Lanfranconi and Bianca Tuninetto. Del Campo enamels are considered among the best made in Italy during the twentieth century. Thanks to experimentation and collaboration with renowned architects such as Gio Ponti, Ettore Sottsass, Giuseppe Raimondi, Augusto Romano and Aldo Morbelli, the Studio has been able to create objects of great technical and formal value.
In addition to the unique works of art, designed directly by the founders of the Studio, their proposal also included a wide range of everyday objects, such as handles, plates and decorations. The art of enamel applied to architecture gave life to handles that can still be admired in Turin buildings built between 1955 and the end of the seventies, representing brilliant testimonies of a bygone era.
