Tagliapietra Tranquillo was a Venetian painter active in the second half of the nineteenth century.

Tagliapietra Tranquillo was a Venetian painter active in the second half of the nineteenth century.
He mainly painted landscapes and church interiors. Some of his watercolors are exhibited at the Civic Museum of Padua, while other of his works have been presented in various national exhibitions, such as that of Bologna in 1867, where his "View of Trento" and the "Cortile Bembo of Venice" were highly appreciated , and that of Rome in 1877, where he presented “St. Peter's Square” and the Altar of St. James in the church of San Marco in Venice. In 1881, he participated in the Genoa exposition with Rivo SM Mater Domini-Venice, and in 1884 he presented the Pulpit in the church of S. Marco in Milan. Among his later works, the "Agordino Landscape" exhibited in Rome in 1906 stands out.
