Ermanno Toso was a designer and the artistic director of the Fratelli Toso company since 1924. He participated in many editions of the Venice Biennale from 1930 to 1964 and in other national and international exhibitions and exhibitions. The most beautiful murrina vases were designed by Ermanno such as: the “Kiku”, the “Foglie”, the “Nerox”, the “Redentore”. Initially Ermanno made traditional murrine vases, then he began to move towards more sophisticated research and a new design, in which he transformed the shapes and colors of his pieces. In 1946 he became commercial director, putting aside his role as artistic director.
