Renato Toso Biography
Toso Renato (Murano, 1940) Renato Toso is a designer from Murano, who together with the Venetian Noti Massari founded an industrial and interior design studio in 1996, for the design of installations, shops, exhibitions and stands. They collaborate with various companies including Cattelan Italia, Estel, Henry Lloyd, Ferro Murano, Formica, Alpi and design for Artemide, Foscarini, Leucos and others. They have participated in various conferences, exhibitions and exhibitions such as personal ones held at Palazzo Grassi, at the Querini Stampalia in Venice and collective ones at the Louvre museum in Paris, at the MoMa and at the Corning Glass in New York. They also won several prizes such as: the first prize at the Venice Biennale, at the XII Triennale in Milan, the first Andrea Palladio prize, two selections at the Corning Glass Museum in New York, the first prize at the Young&Design 2005 competition, the first IBD-Award prize -USA.
