Born in Antoing in 1936, Lionel Vinche began painting in 1961 and exhibited since 1963. Lionel Vinche has presented his work in major museums and many Belgian galleries, including Bernard Cats in Brussels with whom he worked from 1987 until its closure and who dedicated several catalogs to him. His works have regularly been hung outside our borders: Italy, Germany, Argentina, Luxembourg, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Congo, France and presented at Belgian and foreign art fairs. They are part of numerous private and public collections (Wallonia-Brussels Federation, Province of Hainaut, etc.). In 2013, two retrospectives were dedicated to him: the reverse of the painting at the House of Culture in Tournai and A Worth It at the Daily Bul in La Louvière. It is regularly exhibited at Espace B in Glabais.
