Renzo Zanutto is a Venetian artist, born in 1909 and passed away in 1979. He exhibited in many important exhibitions at national and international level, including the Venice Biennale in 1948/50, the Rome Quadrennial in 1955/56 and the Michetti Prize in Francavilla. He has obtained several awards, such as the Tarcento Prize and the Marzotto Prize and his works have been exhibited in various galleries, including the International Gallery of Modern Art in Venice and the Civic Museum of Modern Art in Udine.
Zanutto was one of the greatest exponents of Venetian art and followed and innovated the pictorial tradition of his city, creating works that ranged from landscapes to still lifes, from nudes to portraits, up to particularly demanding cycles, such as the one dedicated to Greek mythology.
