Born in Vittorio Veneto (TV) in 1956, he graduated in Painting with Carmelo Zotti at the Academy of Fine Arts in Venice. After completing his studies he moved to Berlin experimenting with media such as video, cinema, photography, performance and dance. In 1989 he created a large abstract painting (200m2) on the spectator hall of the Pforzheim Opera House in Germany. In 1991, he participated in "Kunst, Europa" at the Marburg museum, representing Italy in the exhibition of the new Europe after the fall of the wall and in 1992 he was the holder of the annual scholarship of the Kulturstiftung of Berlin. In 1993 he participated in the XLV International Biennial of Venice. In the same year the Arte Mondadori magazine cited him among the hundred most important Italian artists of the year. In 1995, with some dancers from the Berlin Opera, he founded and directed the experimental dance company "Tanzmaschine".
