A gilt bronze figure of Amitabha Japan, 19th century
Fusione in bronzo scuro raffigurante il Buddha trascendente Amitabha. Di aspetto austero siede in posizione padmasana su un'intricata e raffina base a più livelli la quale termina con fior di loto dai molteplici petali. Le mani sono giunte in grembo nel gesto dhyanamudra, mentre retrostante alla figura é presente una complessa aureola traforata con fiamme stilizzate e personaggi volanti. Tracce di doratura su abiti, base e aureola.
