Armchair with Ottoman, for Herman Miller, 50s. They are officially called Eames Lounge (670) and Ottoman (671). Seat and back in molded veneered plywood, cognac leather cushions and aluminum base.
Based on a prototype presented at the "Organic Design in Home Furnishing" competition, held at the Museum of Modern Art in 1940, model no. 670 represents the most complex chair ever made by Eames and their first project for the luxury market.
