For stylistic reasons, this scagliola top can be traced back to the corpus of Nicola Flamini, a Romagna scagliolist native of Verucchio whose style is characterized by soft shades of yellow, red, green and gray and the clean line with which the decorations are outlined, elements that are found, for example, in the top with a vase of flowers and coat of arms of the Valentini family, preserved among the assets of the Diocesi of Arezzo - Cortona - Sansepolcro.
