Defects.
The technique and the typology of this Telamone, probably a reduced-scale model for a stucco sculpture for the decoration of an ecclesiastical building or a noble residence, can be attributed to the workshop of Antonio Trentanove, an Italian sculptor and plasterer born in Rimini and active between the second half of the eighteenth century and the first years of the nineteenth century in Emilia Romagna, Marche and Tuscany. For a comparison with telamons certainly attributed to the artist, see the stucco sculptures under the choir of the Church of S. Maria dei Servi in Rimini.
