This item is a Damien Hirst ping pong ball that served as the invitation to the private viewing of his 2000 exhibition "Theories, Models, Methods, Approaches, Assumptions, Results, and Findings" at Gagosian Gallery in New York. It's a standard size ping pong ball with the artist's and gallery's names on one side and the exhibition's title on the other side. It's housed in a box that has the artist's and gallery's names on the lid along with the exhibition's opening date. Inside the box there is also a piece of paper that explains the process that take place after death on one side and a list of poison control centers in the US on the other side.
