The work of one of the great painters of Italian cinema. Author of the illustrations for cult films such as ‘The Great War’ by Mario Monicelli (1959) or ‘The Conformist’ by Bernardo Bertolucci (1970), which were also ‘painted’ by Piero Ermanno Iaia, a film painter who narrated one of the greatest seasons of Italian cinema (but not only: his is also the Italian poster for ‘Psycho’ by Alfred Hitchcock).
