Vittorio Accornero de Testa (1896-1982) has been an artist, decorator, set designer, collaborating with the House of Gucci since the '60s, called by Rodolfo Gucci, son of the founder of the company. A turning point to be marked has been the creation of the Flora model in 1966, especially realised for H.S.H. Princess Grace of Monaco. Indispensable item of any elegant woman's wardrobe during the '60s and the '70s, Accornero silk scarves have been worn by jet-setters and stars like Grace Kelly, Jackie Kennedy-Onassis, Monica Vitti and Sophia Loren, becoming a fundamental chapter in the history of costume and fashion accessories.
