This lithograph, unlike the others by Campigli, has a very limited edition. According to Meloni/Tavola, only four copies are known: three signed and dated color proofs, one of which, pasteled in red, and an unsigned black and white proof. In addition to these four proofs, there is a partial black and white proof, preserved in Campigli's legacy, which is not included in the edition. The work under examination here is the fifth known example of the Parisian motif, three of the five copies are printed in color and two are in black and white.
