Noteworthy scepter with ivory handle of Moghul craft, with the extremities carved in a floral motif, and skull with flaming aura in embossed and fire-gilded silver. A red spinel is mounted in one of the eye sockets. The third flame is missing, though it is possible that this was the intended form of the item, appropriate for its placement in conjunction with a devotional sculpture.
